Whilst in Detroit last week met up with Dennis Bowles (The Other Brothers). We spent a long time talking about his talented father who worked at Motown from the early days as The Temptations manager, writer of 'Fingertips', creator of The Motown Revue to name a few roles. Loved by all that worked with him, Dennis's book lovingly covers many of these aspects of his life as prime back room figure in the developement of Detroit music & the birth of Motown.

Thanks for that Dave, I have ordered direct from the link. Amazon seem to only do a kindle version and, as with all soul books, it just isn't the same without an actual copy.

Got my copy in 2012 and signed by the man himself, order from the link and ask him .......

Just ordered, great tip David. Might be worth getting it put up as an article so it stands out more and probably hangs around longer?

I read it last year (via Kindle) and it is a great read.  Great story that needed to be told about Beans who was an huge influence to many.  

This arrived today with a nice, personal message from Dennis written inside. I am 40 pages in and it's excellent.
