Hey folks,

Looking to confirm a price on Gene Redding's "I Got Soul" on Bell.

Thing is, I've seen one seller recently asking for £140 whereas I've seen the average price at around $140US.

Has as it gone up in price or is this cat adopting that practice that another renowned seller does which is apply the pound where really it should be the dollar? (Not to say they can't ask what they want, mind you.)

Incidentally if anyone's got one for $140US let me know and I'll happily pony up!

Cheers

Adam

£100 about right.....the funky side is pickin up spins so `they` put the price up.....the crossover side is streets ahead imho tho

Agreed Dave. INYL eclipses the other side completely. Quite large variations in price tho, anywhere between 60-100. Jim.

  • It was a steady £75er for a number of years - not rare just in demand cos it's a good record. After Cliff started dropping the funky side at Lifeline etc., price went up as more people wanted it.

Also agree with Dave

I've always sold copies for £100 but my last one went for £125 because of the interest in the 'I Got Soul' side

That's for a NM copy mind - if it's got marks on the vinyl or labels etc it should be cheaper

No difference in price between the issue or demo
