Hi all, just got another batch of Aussie soul 45s through the post, and I have Little Stevie Wonder - Fingertips on Aussie HMV, did this appear on HMV in the UK? Cat number is EA-4581, although I don't think that would relate to a uk press.

 

Other Motown connected, got a copy of the Contours - Do you love me/Move Mr Man on W&G, one of only two Motown releases on the label... Prefer Mr Man side over DYLM...

 

There is a bunch of other good 45s, I'll put a big batch up as scans some time this week...

no fingertips came out on oriole in the uk  1963

I take it you mean the live Fingertips part 1/2?

Anyone know if the studio version that was on the UK EP made it to 45 anywhere else?

yes its Pt 1 and 2.  Studio version, never seen it on Oz, actually I never knew it existed to be honest, I'll check that out though..

 

Sticker on the Contours says Brooks Records, Pitt Street, which must be Sydney, Its the main shopping drag these days...
