Iam sure I went to one a few years ago (when they where showing the supremes costumes etc). Not sure but I think it was called records & relics (next to a golfing shop I think??) .. He had a quite a few rarish northern/motown stuff If I remember rightly..paul

Records and Relics, five minutes walk from the Winter Gardens in Caunce Street

I use to pop in when I went to the weekender, plenty of records, soul, northern and memorabilia

The local soul nights are advertised there also

Don't forget your sun cream !

Went there last year, the chap in the shop mentioned had the tail-end of what must have been a lovely British collection, all in decent nick, but not very interesting.

Also a copy of The Specials 'Can't find another', priced at something like a fiver which wasn't for sale when I asked.

Lots of 10-50 pound US soul 45s, all at Manship prices.

Got a couple of decent cheap bits but was quite hard work. Nice chap though.

Oh, there are actually two parts to the shop - the 45s shop is separate, and much more interesting!
