Does anybody recall a different vocal version to the penquin breakdown, other than the L J Reynolds version, I think it started with the words "let me tell you about the woman in my life" and the chorus was something like "got the notion and it feels like love" or something close to that. I haven't heard it for years so any ideas anyone.

Yes pat Brady played it late Wigan it was on a live tape I posted in refosoul unfortunately it's not been kept up.

Getting interesting, I wonder if this is the same one that Pat Brady had, it was towards the end Wigan in the early 80s when I remember it being played.

Rob, used to dj at belle vue allnighter, then sold up, and set up V.I.P record fairs.It may be that same copy.He also had an unreleased acetate, version of it's all  over me, and it was otis blackwell.
