I saw it yesterday, it's O.K. though I'm a little bit disappointed. They just captured some of his life famous moments and 2 hours are much too short for resume James Brown's life.

 

The actor is a great dancer. The best parts for me are the concerts scenes, all the music being the real thing.

Saw this yesterday. Thought it was outstanding.

it wisely sacrificed big chunks of his long career, in order to create a real insight into the man, which it did brilliantly, making it a good film rather than a documentary.

but the general authenticity of the studio and concert scenes and dancing is incredible
