1. Coming down in a bed-sit sometime in 1969 or 1970 and suddenly hearing this eerie sound coming from the radio.

'Ready Now! Ready Now!'

That sound was often in my head. How did it it get onto that tranny?

Frankie Valli's record had made it onto the radio.

On holiday in Australia many moons ago and going into the paper shop and hearing Doug Parkinson "I'll Be Around" on the radio, seeing the staff sing along and finding out he was a big star in OZ :)

Staying with this, seeing a picture of him and finding out he was a white bald headed tattoo rock singer!!!!

Gobsmacking moment?

Flipping through a box of old 45's that were being chucked out by a well known radio station and finding both a Barbara Mills and Darryl Banks demo in less than a minute.
