Just in case anyone directs him here! ranting_1.gif

Given the description i.e not saying it's a boot/reissue and referring to the £3k value, it's clearly out of order (well fraud to be exact (or "obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception if you want to get technical), and instead of slagging off the punters who have mistakingly thought it was an original, tossers like this need to be weeded out. Have contacted all concerned.

Rich

I sent him an email stating it was aboot and a £15 tops tune..

days before it finished

dick turpin should be the sellers name

I saw this and the seller should be shot. The description was worded to deceive. And the original never sold for 3k on Manships, about £1300 I think. I feel sorry for the buyer.

Isn't EVERYONE who lists a bootleg for sale on e-bay committing some kind of offence, REGARDLESS of whether they imply or suggest that it may be an original?!!

Therefore, unless it is a legitimate re-issue (such as the Columbia released Okehs of the early 1970s), everybody who puts a bootleg on e-bay without describing it as such is performing some kind of deception.
