I've always found it impossible to choose a favourite soul record (or even a top ten) that doesn't change on a daily basis.

But what about a favourite album? is chosing a standout album any easier?

So what's your favourite that fits the following..

Consistent over all the tracks, a standout is a bonus not a necessity

Format immaterial, viny or CD

From any soul genre

From any era

Rarity irrelevent
