October 17, 20159 yr No idea who the backup group is but it's not Doug Banks singing. Probably a blue eyed effort. And not bad IMO.
October 18, 20159 yr It s a curious one.Just about put my Doug Banks up for sale.Got a few medical worries no heathen is blagging mine.
October 18, 20159 yr agree with above doesn't sound like doug banks have always loved this b side totally brilliant, acetate version not bad thou..
October 22, 20159 yr Author To me it does a little bit. I happen to have an acetate of that, but much slower. I posted it about two years ago and If I remember correctly members though it was Doug Banks. Edited October 30, 20159 yr by briank answered
October 23, 20159 yr Well, not all of them. "This little boy of mine" is definitely Doug Banks (IMO). The version of Baby Since You Went Away you posted sure isn't.
October 24, 20159 yr Author Well, I'll say this. I got these acetates from the collect of J. Walsh(now deceased) who co wrote the song, so I think he would use the same singer for these. However, I guess it could be possible that he used someone else to sing as he was obviously changing things up. Song sheet enclosed. Is your copy from an acetate also?
