These are his Columbia recordings before he released on Okeh nice item do yuo have the picture sleeve with it? With picture sleeve value £50 to £75 without it maybe £25/30

These were made for jukeboxes, there are hundreds of interesting ones, the most famous probably being Willie Mitchell's Driving Beat (featuring The Champion)

Here's one I picked up recently

As said, there are loads of these "Little LPs". Lot's of stuff on Atlantic, Chess etc. Motown issued 34 of them, made by a company in Ohio if I remember corectly. Basically, most of them are exact replicas of the full LPs of the same name, but obviously with less tracks. If anyone has a Martha Reeves and The Vandellas one I'd be very interested in buying it, or seeing a scan of it.

The Willie Mitchell one is a quandry for me....I have it on a yellow wax Little LP. I've seen it on black wax and am not sure about the authenticity of the yellow one. (Can't really see it being booted on a "Little LP though can you?) Plus it was released on LOndon at it's height of popularity for 50p anyway. Any ideas anyone?

Dave
