This has not been the best week for me and venues ...............................

-------------- Spirit' Allnighters, R.I.P. --------------------

Unfortunately due to the death of a young girl at a rave event, also held at The Box. The senior management that own the company that includes The Box, have decided that they will no longer cater for late night events. So unless I can find another interesting venue as an alternative, I have to say 'Spirit' is no more. All suggestions for possible venues welcome.

Does it need to be an allnighter ? would you still come if it was exactly the same Format, DJ's, The Secret Room, But say 8pm-3am ?

I personally would prefer 4pm till 10/11 simply because at my age it takes me days to recover from a niter and it is much easier for me logistically to do those times travelling from Scotland. I know there is an oldies do at the Box on a Sunday at these times and it is well attended.

The Next 'Spirit', The Summer Party............IS ON !!!!!!!!....

Due to the very sad death of a young lady at the venue, the owners have asked us to only run until 3am for the time being. With the enormous success of the event, the DJ's, Music played and that awesome sound system, it would be a shame to loose the venue. So for the next few we will run from 8pm - 3 am. Everything else the same including the 'Secret Room' which, was so successful last time. For this one we see the return behind the decks of Leona Murphy after her little sabbatical

So for this one July 23rd, we have ...............

Soul Sam, Arthur Fenn, Matt Sneath, David Abbott, Cliff Steele, Amanda Cottrell, Dave Thorley plus in the Secret Room Leona Murphy

So if you can please share this and get the word out !!!!!!!!!!!
