Evening All,

Could someone help me out with some info on this track regarding the difference between the gold and orange label please.

Much thanks in anticipation

I was of the impression they are both originals but for some reason the gold one seems to be more desirable.

Many thanks indeed

I maybe wrong though. Was hoping someone else would confirm.

Are they both the same quality pressing and mastering wise? Great record but wish my (orange) copy played with a bit more oomph.

I had a gold issue when it was or just after it was covered up, didn't see an orange one till much later.  Seen more gold over the years than orange.

Is the run out details the same for both?

I lived in L.A. from 1966-72.  I've seen hundreds of the gold and only a much smaller amount of the orange (a ratio of about 5 to 1).  I don't really know which came first, but I didn't see the orange until a year or 2 after having seen the gold.  I got the impression that the orange was a 2nd pressing, rather than a concurrent pressing plant difference (perhaps one or 2 years later).

I've had em both and agree that the orange one seems to be rarer.  However I decide to keep the gold version because I thought the fidelity was higher.
