These have been around for at least a year. They are pretty good as well.

 

Just looked it up. Mar 2014 is when they first became available.

I bought a dozen of these when they first came out (2009 or 2010, I think) and I struggled to interest anyone in buying one.  I ended up giving most away.  The quality is nowhere near as good as the Audio Technica soundburger.  It's made of cheap lightweight plastic and the USB connections were faulty to the point of causing horrible feedback when connected to my iMac.

I'll rephrase my comment because I agree with what you say regards the Soundburger. These are pretty good for taking to allnighters and listening to records in the record bar.

Never tried to use it as a USB turntable to be honest.
