Anyone know the names of who was in the Re-Vells?

No mention on that page but there is in The Soul Harmony Singles but I have me doubts they are the same.

Do you have what's in the SHS?

According to Dave Moore's book - "The Philly Sound" , the group was made up of lead vocalist John Kelley, John Grant, Henry Colclugh.

and two names well known to Northern Soul fans- Billy Jackson and Herb Johnson.

    There is no mention of the Trent Town release so  that was probably a  different group.

The names are what are mentioned on the link I gave.  I'll look tomorrow to see if anything else of interest.

The Philly group just has the one "L", me thinks it is a different group.

The reason I was asking was to hopefully confirm these.
It seems this is it though. So the answer to the question that very few people care about is, probably.......

The RE-VELLS were a different group coming out of Trenton,New Jersey to the best of my knowledge.
