I'm looking for books related on Chicago soul scene. Any tips?

The obvious one would be chicago soul by robert pruter.

"The Man Behind the Music" by Carl Davis is well worth your time.

Here's two more- neither are 100% Soul books but there's some interesting info in both-

   John Collis- "The Story of Chess Records"

   Herb Kent / Davis Smallwood - "The Cool Gent" - Herb was the legendary Chicago dj who broadcast from 1944 until he passed away last year. 

The Record Men, the Marshall and Leonard Chess/ Chess records story.
