Following on from the Darkest Days thread here is my ABC copy of Eddie Holman. This copy is Vinyl and has small text credits. As far as i can tell there are two vinyl press text variants and one styrene press all being sold as 1968 originals. Is it a case of west coast -- Styrene and the two vinyl ones East coast.Anyone know for sure.

  • There is definitely a west coast press, has a delta number.  There is an east coast press (above I guess) and probably other areas too.

Whats the run out details?  The Jackie Lee were West Coast Monarch press.  Not sure about the one in tne topjc mind. Monarch also pressed in vinyl at times and East Coast also had styrene pressing plants.

Here is my copy Patto it has 15404 scratched in, and a small 7 and a 3  just up from 9 0.clock.

Thanks for That Bruv.Slight differences in Text layout but mine has same markings including that 7 and 3

It's a great record, but certainly not rare.  The other side "I Love You" was a good seller in the States in 1969.

The three different label/pressing variations are just different pressing plants used.

It has always been in plentiful supply, and not as rare as the Jackie Lee "Darkest Days" original.
