Not sure if this topic has been brought up before,but does any one know who the lead singer of the Soulettes-Bring your fine self home-Scope was? I’ve often wonderd if it was Barbara Mercer,as she sounds very much like her. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Connie could be Constantine Walker although I think the Soulettes she was in is a different group, Jamaican.

Yeah I realise that, I was meaning to just add the Constantine who could be the Connie Andy was referring to.  There was a topic on Soulful Detroit that where next to nothing was known about them.

could be right, been said before she is the vocal behind it
