It taken me 24 hours to get round to posting this. Mark Clugston has passed away after a long illness. I'm gutted for Pam and all his family. Mark your not suffering anymore my friend. You never gave up. Sleep well and rest in peace . It was a privilege to have known you.:hatsoff2:

I spent one of the greatest most emotional nights of my life with Mark.  We travelled by coach from Manchester   to Barcelona for the European champions league final on the 26th May1999. Between Manchester United and Bayern Munich. For as long as I live I will never ever forget that time.

It's so sad Mark.  I even forgave him for going over to the dark side ( modern  scene) .  Steve

After feeling so, so sad at hearing this tragic news, I'm now remembering the happy times we had back in the day.  This isn't my photo, but it always makes me smile to see Mark here (in the red top) with Sam and Arthur on either side of him and me imagining that they're trying to get the microphone off him.

Spot on mate, early 1981 I believe.  I think that his brother Pat's partner must have taken it, because she's not in the photo.  As you'll probably know, Mark was Arthur Fenn's brother in law and he was a regular in the early days of the specialist modern soul rooms and much loved and respected by everyone.
