Hello Folks, I recently purchased a box of Northern Soul 7" records off a retired DJ, all purporting to be original. I have my doubts over this one though? Can anybody help here?

The copy I have has Autumn H 9 A, scratched into the 'A' side. It has Autumn H 9 B, scratched into the B side.

Thanks in anticipation

Many thanks Chalky for your reply. Gawd, the world of collecting our favourite Northern Soul records is a murky one at times

As far as I can remember all originals have the Autumn logo in two colours the re-issue has plain black logo.

Cheers, the swirl of the Autumn logo is light brown, whilst the leaf in the centre is a reddish brown (as is the word 'autumn' next to the swirl), so I guess it is an original then

Thanks Chalky, My copy is the same as the last two on the page i.e. pictures No.6 and 7.  So I take it it is a re-issue but not a boot?

First issue.

The boot is just two coloured and one has The Duck on the flip, that was a release of his.  There is another boot with the right flip but again it is two coloured not three.
