As Im somewhat of a computer novice I can't play any of the downloads sent on AOL/Media player. It comes up as playing and then just stops.

Any tips what's going wrong.

Download is from your PM to your hard drive - right click on it and 'save target as'

Try playing it by double clicking on the mp3

If no joy, right click on the mp3 and go down to 'properties' - about a third of the way down the boxthat comes up, you should see the text "opens with" and a 'change' button to the right of it; click on the button and choose say, window media player.
