Very sad, a real pioneer. I didn't know him personally but had a great chat about all things music and football in Ibiza earlier this year - came across as a real decent guy. RIP

I last saw him at the Margate Soul Festival in July. Despite having his arm in a sling, he played a blinder and was loving every song he played. He was on a different level to most.

 

Remember seeing him back in the day at the global village  Charing cross    he really felt his music    RIP soul brother 🎶🎶👏

One of the greats as a dj and a giant of the soulful house and dance scene. Not old school but all school as he used to say. RIP

Gutted by this news. I was wondering how he was doing, and having heard he was ill a few years back. Had the pleasure of seeing him djing at Hq in the mid nineties, he was shit hot technically and with a taste and insight to be rivaled by only the American originators. Sadly at the moment he contribution is understated.
