Howdy anyone collect strange black Tamla 45s? I have around 35 from Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, South Africa (the bulk - around 20) + Ireland I would appreciate any help on how to price ? Is there a resource I don't know about for obscure TMG 45s ? A lot of these are not priced on discogs / popsike etc - cheers Mike

do any of them have anything that was not released on US/British versions? something that makes them collectable other than country of release?

sorry not checked your list in detail

My first resource for eavluating is Discogs. If a record is listed there, the number of wants plus the recent sales (if any) give a good indication of demand and value.

OP already said these are not on Discogs etc - my query is what makes any of these rare TMG 45s

??

Actually Mike said a lot of them are not listed on Discogs to be fair. I have lots of South African singles and they don't seem ,in the main, to be valuable

Hi Mike Kuklenko, {Soul Man/Boy}

                                 As a Motown 45 Nut ,No there is no resource for the readily available in other formats elsewhere discs you list ,sorry . The Key to all these strange foreign issues ,is the song /Tune .!!  " Yester me ,Yester You etc " is a cheapo in  any country and a No ,No,, ,but Chuck Jackson " Ain,t No Sun { Since You Been Gone } " on a Brazil Or Argentine issue ,Name your price in 3 figures ,because it only appeared on LP " Arrives " and is a Storming Motown dancer . Ditto ;;,probably  a monster tune , " A Taste of Honey " 4 Tops ,Lebanese ,or Dutch £250 ??

Your most desireable ,single  possibly,Juniors " Good Rocki,n " ,but this is a later 1968 issue ,not the 1962 issue on tri-Phi { Itself only a $10 disc.}

Probably  their  maybe some Phsycotic  collectors out there ,try " Offers Please" on e bay,  a job lot? , Sorry to be a Pain in The ass ,Good  Luck ,      Cheers John, Malaga,Spain.
