For a while now I've been gathering info on the Playboy After Dark TV shows and have a list of every performance/performer throughout the run of the series on US TV ... (I'm waiting for a mate to return from the US with a DVD collection of the complete series !) ...

the series only had limited syndication in the US because many networks refused to run it due to the obvious connections with the adult industry and many TV executives were afraid that it would affect their sponsorship from advertisers ...

Anyway, there were quite a few excellent appearances by soul artists as we 've already seen but the most tantalising one is surely the episode listing Kelly Garrett as performing 'Love Is The Only Answer' !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any chance you can source further Playboy episodes to be able to post that Kelly Garrett (I don't expect the DVD's to arrive for several months) ???

Pete, brilliant footage once again. Still to this day it makes me laugh when footage from the late 6t's and early 7t's when I see a white guy in a DJ dancing to Soul Music; so out of place
