it's Val Shively, very nice bloke.....well he was when I visited......got the same first name you see......or it could have been because his wife had just won some money at a casino.......he kept the parking meter fed sent out for sandwiches & drinks....

Top bloke....but quite overwhelming when your there, you need to get well organised or it just gets all too much.

As I stated on the original post several months ago , VS is a great chap ...... but when he was on an off day , he hated himself .

one of my favourite recollections of the place is the smell ...... the smell of old paper . I - sorry for being perverse - like the smell of old paper .
