For me at least, I miss the dance moves of a lot of the girls at Wigan in that 70's time. That foot shuffle/slip thing, how to describe it? But sure as eggs is eggs, I don't see girls doing anything like it anymore. To me they do pretty much the same as the blokes do, move wise. I also seem to remember it was particular for the Casino, and the last time I saw it was from a little group of gals who had travelled down to the Wellingborough weekender quite a few years ago. Anyway, just wanted to put this out there......I don't like to think I will never see the likes of it again......beautiful it was.

Yes, the footwork was so good they seemed to float just above the floor!

Also the guy's used to do more of that working along the dancefloor with a sideways step, moving from side to side. It's hard to explain but I know it when I see it. 

The clapping in time and in the right place is what I miss.

Even though i was never there, the more i see and read about the scene back then the more convinced i am i was born too late in the "wrong" part of the UK - must have been magical times
