Just caught up with the 6th February episode of the manic "Shameless" courtesy of Sky Plus. Briefly, the magnificently wasted Frank Gallagher, played supremely by David Threllfall (who incidentally also directed this episode - the one where one of the Maguire family has a dog, called Nelson, performing a sex act act on him...... ) is seen wearing a "Wigan Casino Keep the Faith" t-shirt with the Night Owl logo in the centre.
So what do you reckon - Frank at Wigan? He certainly has the chemical credentials with the amount of ecstacy he drops and he could have been there ( although it's anybody's guess as to how old he is), and he's obvously a more credible soap opera representative for the scene than Fizz.
What would Frank have been tuned into, sound wise? I keep thinking Psychodelic Frankie on Hi-Speed would have been a perfect mantra for him!
