Picked this Lp up yesterday. Usually i don't buy Lp's, but i couldnt resist this one.

"THIS SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL ALBUM EXCLUSIVELY PRODUCED FOR FREE-FORM RADIO STATIONS"

One side you have a "Tamla" label with all Stevie Wonder tracks. The other side you have a "Gordy" label, all Temptations tracks.

The back cover has all the lyrics to the songs on the LP.

Another weird thing is. The vinyl's not far off of being a Flexi Disc (very thin vinyl).

Can anyone give me any information is this?

Am i right in thinking that The Temptations never released "Smiling faces sometimes" (as featured on this LP). I thought the Undisputed Truth only sung that (but i could be wrong)? Either way, they wouldnt have released this version onto 45 as it's 12 & a half mins long.

Rarity? Value?

As a motown collector myself, including albums (love 'em!)....this is a nice item! I have a similar thing but a tape cassette of Miracles stuff with the same kind of cover 'Special Promotional Album For Radio Stations', got it at an American Air Base car boot (with several other goodies) years ago.

Temptations 'Smiling Faces Sometimes' is on their 'Sky's The Limit' L.P.

I have this also. In fact I think there were a series of them. I suspect they were produced to "plug " the artists back catalogue when Motown were reduced to pushing out the 'bargain bin' stuff in US record stores.
