My memory being shot to bits, I'm assuming this must have been booted? If so can anyone tell me how to spot the boot from the original?

Boot ? Promo reissue you mean with the "box" logo with the 'U' next to the 'A' ? The original is the "badge" like logo with the 'a' in the 'U'.

From what I recall: US UA boot has the 70s UA layout, i.e. 70s UA logo on top. 60s UA was on the left.

dont think its a boot tho.. just a legal reissue by a national label
