I love the last days of the year.

Overtime reduction!

Wife at work and the child still at school.
And I enjoy the "well-deserved rest" by listening to records and sometimes I´m surprised by some of the finds. What happened today?

Mel Williams, Hollywood Label, Beautiful rich green label, VG++ Condition , 2 Results on Popsike With Soundfiles (Great! Both!!)

Does anyone here kindly have some information?
I've never heard of it! But I also think that there are still some unknowns out there, especially from Mel Williams ...

PS: I'll probably catalog it at discogs.com today ...

  • assuming Mel Williams is Melvin Williams, as opposed to their being two Mel(vin) Williams, then he could also be the co-owner of Musette Records. you can find more here https://www.soulfulkindamu

  • I remember Anglo American auctioning one of these some years ago saying it’s had plays,so known by some, somewhere.

  • Deffo not unknown but not well known, will have to check if I grabbed a sound file off ebay. Would imagine same Mel Williams as on Star, Buddah, Chipper etc.

Yep - For Me Aswell!

Like The Other L.A. Lbls (Ramel, Astranaut).

It was played at Burnley by myself and Cliff Camfield. Great record, very silly lyrics though.

I can’t remember who I sold it to now.
