Just seen a post from John on instagram the half price sale is on again. Didn’t see a post here so just a gentle heads up for those not on instagram.

  • Have some of you got nowt better to do than complain? Buy something or jog on for ffs.

  • See if it’s better managed compared to last time.

  • I put an order in for a couple of hundred quid… if it takes 3/4 weeks to process, so what? The man’s not gonna rip anyone off.

As i said in my post just after yours the record I hopefully bought last night newly listed is no longer there this morning. who is responsible for removing items once sold I have no idea, perhaps someone on here can tell us, is it automatic from Discogs side or does the seller have to do it. I'm sure this was answered on the last sale thread but i cannot remember the answer.

Bill, hope you are well. Once you order from discogs it should go into your basket and you receive an invoice to pay. It is then unlisted for sale. I understand the frustration when a record is unavailable as the vendor cannot find it. I am a bit guilty of doing this, I sometimes forget to unlist when I've sold it when out and about. Not easy sometimes.

Received my Discogs order placed on the 23rd Oct today. Pretty good service considering.

Also placed an order on the Website on the 19th Oct. Phoned to check progress on this one and told they are dealing with website orders placed on the 19th today.

There are two completely separate fulfilment teams apparently - one for website orders and one for Discogs orders.

My one niggle (same as last time): incremental postage cost for items out of stock was not refunded. Have asked , but nothing yet. Other people getting this problem?

I had one record out of stock out of three and had refund on postage. This was off the website so maybe there's a disconnect with the two teams sorting the orders
