Along with Soul Source coming back up this popped through the letter box today

Mike Williams...Lonely Soldier on a mint UK red Atlantic 45. Not rare (although not easy on UK) not northern just brilliant brilliant soul music, and all for six quid.

Tell you what made my day..... when The Escorts - You can even be my friend -RCA dropped on the doormat....heard this from the RCA thread on SS and just had to hunt one down....took ages though

Fantastic record ! Thanks Chunky for the sound clip, I"d not heard it before................ wouldn"t sound out of place on one of Dave Godins "Deep Soul" compilations if you ask me.....................or at the end of a "nighter for that matter

got my nice clean copy this week for £14 from richard domar,great tune

SOUSHREWS,it did actually cum out on theC.D. Vietnam through the eyes of black america --compiled by Dave Godin on Ace/Kent--great tune Blake along with--"The Ballad of Sam Stone--Swamp Dogg(Jerry Williams)the best Vietnam record ever(imho)
