I have this too. Isn't it a vocal of The Coalitions on the same label? Maybe we should 'do' this label too Roger . I'm trying to find a discography for Karate Records. Anyone?

I think the Coalitions might have the vocal on the A side too? I also have a vague memory of the inst being played by Soul Sam c/u as Mike Post. Don't think it's very good actually.

The Coalitions instrumental was played at the Mecca late 1974. Flip side is a gentle ballad if I recall, called something like "Instead, How Are You?" (?). Jackie Lavant vocal was played, again at Blackpool, C.March/April 1975 alongside Harold Melvin's "Get Out" etc. (I first heard it the same night Levine unleashed his Exciters' recording of "Love You Baby" as a matter of fact!) Topical huh?
