Early 80's, at a gig with Soul Sam. Totally un-interested crowd, Sam gets bored and tells me, rock and roll is his true passion, plays a tune called 'Barking Up The Wrong Tree', (can't remember the artist) pure 50's rock and roll. Crowd still totally un-interested. Any more for any more?

I can't remember that one - but do recall Malc Burton playing "The lonely Ranger" by Silver Pony at Mexborough Civic

Only ever wrote down the lyrics once, from listening over and over to a tune, and that was 'Find a quiet place' - MD. Not sure why, but I loved it when it started getting plays, yonks back.
