Gladys Knight & The Pips - Danger (Gordy?)

Heard it on a mate's compilation & it sounded more like Tina Turner that Gladys.

Great tune though...

Macca, can't see it in any singles listing or album tracks for the group. They didn't release stuff on Gordy and "Danger" doesn't show up as a Jobete published song, for example.

oo'er. then my mate's cd track listing is wrong then. the lyric is "in spite of the danger I fell in love with a stranger"

is it ike & tina then?

It's "The Stranger" - LP only track, think there was a discussion on this track recently.

Great track and if my memory serves me right wasn't there also a brilliant version by The Marvelettes on the Sophisticated Soul album.
