best intro ever?

the ambers 'i love you baby' is up there.

but the tune don't go anywhere for me. lyrics leave a lot to be desired as well.

and patti and the emblems.

that fanfare intro. that's the best intro going??

both the above have backing vocals in the intro as well. might count for sumthin.

what intro gets you going?

i still love the intro to the gypsies, its a womans world, but for me imo the rest of the tune gets a bit messy.

jimmy raye - philly dog

international gtos

prince and princess - stick together

mousie & traps - how about you

.....all great intros

two that do it for me are-

wear your natural baby - towanda & total destruction, so so soulful

and for the oldies :-

crazy baby -the coasters instantly recognisable

cheers craig

For me it has to be Landslide - Tony Clarke what a great intro !

Made a mistake, did'nt see (but you don't like the tune overall) underneath, because i do like it all the way thru.

Paul Anka. Great until the singing starts.

Hi ,

As far as intro's are concerned the ones that stick out for me are:-

The Majestics - I love her so much it hurts me (don't particularly like it these days but great instantly recognisable intro.

the count in on Bari Track ............ 1..............2...............3...................4............ hit that sax, absolutely awesome.

and another instrumental Sidras Theme great intro great record, great memories from when it was covered up as "Explosion".

Regards

Alan
