Posted November 13, 200717 yr Just read a very interesting article about Johnny Brantleys productions in "There's that beat" (issue 5) written by Colin Dilnot. Got some questions, maybe Colin writes here? Anyway, first; did Gloria "Towanda" Barnes release more than one 45 from her album "Uptown"? Does anyone have a sound clip of Fabulous Denos versions of "Bad girl"? Would also love to hear Bobby Browns "Why" on Verve... Also got lot's of wants from this article, but I'll post them at the right section PS: Love soulclub.org while reading soul articles

I have been thinking of writing about the different versions of Bad Girl for my blog - the interesting think about the them - don't forget Lee's re-recording and Hermon Hitson's version - is that they appear to my ears to use different lyrics which is intriguing. Do you know the other great 45 by the Fab Dinos on King??? Contact me off list and I'll drop you a CD-R of JB productions. Why we are at it - has anyone got a copy of Sam William's Music World 45???? I only came across this 45 after the article went to press - love to update Sam on my blog - anyone out there who can help??? Cheers Colin https://indangerousrhythm.blogspot.com/

I'll send you a PM cos I would love to get a CD! I was lucky to get a copy of "I'll call you back later" a while ago, quite rare I've heard.
