had bobby eaton afew times ,,, if the flip to val palmer is right back in my arms ,,, it also came out on hit ,, one of the harder ones on the lable ,, hope this helps cliff.

Bobby Eaton is the same cut as the Brothers Of Soul - Love Is Fever on Boo.

Don't know why it was promoted as a solo disc, on a West Coast label.

Pretty sure that Twin Hits label was cash in cover versions made for Jukeboxes.... a bit like the 'Hit' label and the UK Embassy label....

:( CHEERS :D

My Bobby Eaton, is a plain green demo with Galaxy in a silver font. Completely different design from this one. I'll post up a scan later.

Great tune and has been a favourite of mine for quite a while.

Thanks fellas

a few more unsure.gif

Molly Bee is either 1950s hillbilly or pop - she made records in both styles. Or judging by what's written on the label, it might be station IDs, as Molly was (and still is) based in California.

Julie Monday is half 'girl group' sound, half 'sunshine pop'. It's not bad.

The Royal Jokers is - from memory - a slow doo-wop. It's the same Royal Jokers who did "Love Games..." though. There are one or two Detroit doo-wop groups on Atco from around the time of this label design (1957).

I've never heard David Rockingham....
