so none of you saw it, hopefully one of you lot can remember the channel (I know it was a freeview one!! :yes: ) about 'Pop' music in the 60s.

I can't believe that Eddie mentioned that he went to see Bob Dylan in 1978....ha ha! I bet he never would have admitted that in 1984 laugh.gif:yes:

If it's Pop Brittania that we're talking about - I have to say this is one of the best documentary series on British pop that I've ever seen. Very, very in depth and extremely enjoyable.

No Pete its Pop on trial with Stuart Marconie. Guets were Eddie P, Tony Blackburn & Neil Innes (Bonzo Dog..) nice clips but felt they were mostly making it up as they went along.

I really enjoyed the whole series including last night.Its been on for last week or so i believe.

Was it me or did Stuart Maconie look like he was wearing too much make up & what had he done with his hair?

I thought it was okay , as with most things beeb it was tailored to a certain demographic but still had some good content and visuals.

I missed the opening part but was Joe Meek's influence recognised ?
