this made me smile

German manufacturers Optimal Media Production claim that their new VinylDisc is a hybrid CD/vinyl album that will play in an optical drive or on a turntable: "The VinylDisc is a combination audio CD and special record. It consists of two attached layers. The silver layer contains digital audio information, while the black upper layer can be played on every record player

This is like the Fightstar release they did it's basically vinyl on one side and cd on other but worst thing is the cd didn't play in any of my cd machines but the vinyl played ok just a little less sound then on your normal vinyl.

That's freaky! Kind of a novelty thing really....& a waste of a "B" side IMO. A lot of new releases on vinyl these days seem to be coming with a CD of the full length enclosed in the shrink wrap. I guess the companies are trying to cater to all with technology like this.
