Was that the end price?

It could of course have been John himself "buying it" because of the changed descriptions - i.e. making sure that the guy that had previously bid highest based on the "authentic mid 60's acetate" description didn't have to end up buying it, now that it's "outed" as a Soussan "one of three copies" affair. I'd like to think John would do something like that. whistling.gif

Perhaps he gave the money (£362) to charity, rather than just take an item off his own auction because someone pointed out the "Van Gogh" was actually done by a five year old with felt-tips?
