No, that is incorrect.

It was never issued at the time of release, and not during the 70s, but it did turn up on an official US Tamla 7" in 1995 and was given away for free at some kind of Motown conference or promotion event. Allegedly most copies were left behind by the atendees and the fact that is was pressed in limited quantities (somewhere around 300-500 probably) means that it is sadly quite hard to find these days. It has got catalogue number 42286-0288-7 and came with a nice looking picture sleeve.

It has later turned up on a "Chris Kings Anniversary" 45 (which I have heard is legitimate) and also as a bootleg which turned up a couple of years ago.
