Hi Chris,

watch out for Simon lookalike boots done at same time as Salvadors, Mel Britt etc.

Good try but Easy to identify as again the labels have a white ring to label edge.....but of course some creative sorts colour over!

I have a nice minter available...could be persuaded....PM me.

Are you 100% on this Alan - I've never, ever heard of this before and this was never a big enough sound to counterfeit - the crap pressing wasn't done til late 77 early 78.

Not saying you're wrong, just not come across or heard of this in 30+ years.

Used to be a standard £8 in the Wigan bar, bought 2 of them in 77.

True, very good boot, on the Big list Simon put out with all the current biggies of the time.

Yes it was a £6/£8 record at the time, (but so was Billy Woods......) cult record, introduced as "one for the Riker likers" i recall.

Possibly boot scarcer than the original ??
