Have any of these been played out? The 'Sun Don't Shine' maybe border line with pop for some, but the 'Grass' title would be a nice ender?

im sure the vocalist on all the northern offerings was i guy called jay proctor

jay traynor was vocalist on the early jay and the americans records but left

for a solo career in 1963. "come a little bit closer" is not bad for a pop

David Blatt who sang with the Empires replaced Traynor on lead in '63. Blatt became Jay Black apparently. Which Empires not sure. Plenty of info on the web about the group, just google the group name.
