Just been listening to Junior Walkers 'Walk in the night', and I swear his sax (backing) is singing...................No I'm not under the influence, but does anybody else hear it or do I need help.

Maybe its in other records also, any nominations.

I realise that but the sax is so in tune with the singing, its like JW is singing into his sax and it comes out like it does. Not being a musician, Im not sure if theres a technique used or he is just unique.

It is possible to sing at the same time as playing a woodwind instrument, I've only ever heard it in weird modern Classical pieces and the odd bit of jazz though, and generally just sounds rather than lyrics. Why not stick a soundfile up and we can all have a listen?
