June 11, 200817 yr Thanks Chris but got one off ebay, needed to know value as there is a custom charge of £11.95 Cheers Steve. Have you been stung Steve? its happened to me a few times US dealers putting the true value of the record on the customs form, mind you the PO takes its fair wack as well If you bought it off Ebay let the seller know what a cnut he is and the cost to you... Steve Remember that guy who wanted to write $400 on the customs declaration on that Stemmons Express I won? There's a thread about it on here somewhere. The self righteous brothers of soul source came down on his side and said it's my own fault for bidding. I say what f*cking difference does it make to him if he writes, $4, $40 or $400. Anyway it ended in mutual negative feedback for both parties.

I agree Pete, but my point is some sellers insist on you paying for insured postage, but it does not apply if it comes from the US, so why do they have to put on the customs form the true value it does not make sense, if I buy anything of value over £35 I make a point of contacting the seller now so this does not happen..
June 11, 200817 yr I always ask to declare actual value. That way I`m insured if anything goes wrong and i can claim it back against tax anyway. Chris
