Recently heard for the first time Kiki Dee's On a Magic Carpet Ride. Originals are, as I'm sure you all know, very expensive. Then I came across an issue by Miss Dee Dee which is I assume is a bootie but is it a cover or just an illegal bootleg? Now in principle, I am against bootlegs but sometimes needs must. Thanks a lot for any clarification

It's just a cover by a session singer and I think you'd be safe playing it at home but if you tried to play it out you would end up in the stocks

Yeah, it's destiny. I got mine at a car boot fair (how coincidental!) for 50p.
