Posted June 25, 200816 yr Got a few records that are in need of a bit of a clean, anything you'd recommend, i've got a suede type flat brush but that does little but remove the light surface dirt. Thanks Matt
June 25, 200816 yr At the moment I use a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water - spray it on, leave it 30 seconds, wipe it round and play while the record is still wet.
June 25, 200816 yr HMV sell bottles of record cleaning fluid and cleaning cloths, spray it on a couple of times both sides avoiding the label. Hold the 45 in your hand and rotate the cleaning cloth around 45. Seems to do the job for me.
