west coast issue also issued on an orange label.

The original came out on both yellow and orange Trans-American - the yellow being the harder to find.

The yellow Trans-American was bootlegged - the original has a strange kind of matrix in the run out.

Then bootlegged again on yellow Trans label.

WE DID THIS THREAD LAST YR AND IT WENT ON FOR DAYS

THAT COPY LOOKS DECIDEDLY LIKE A BOOT/RE-ISSUE

ORIGINALS WERE TRANS AMERICAN YELLOW(1ST ISSUE) AND ORANGE(2ND ISSUE)

BOOT/RE-ISSUE COPY HAS TRANS RECORDS AS PICTURED

Didn't we come to the conclusion in that thread that the release order was in this way:

1. Orange TRANS-AMERICAN issue (telephone number on the label: 213-389-9938)

2. Yellow TRANS-AMERICAN issue (telephone number on the label: 213-384-9334)

3. Official 1973 re-issue on TRANS (telephone number on the label: 213-384-9334)

I personally think that the release order mentioned above is the correct one.

If the yellow TRANS-AMERICAN issue was first, then the company got a new telephone number for the orange issue, then changed it back to exactly the same number for the reissue as on the supposedly first issue.

Or perhaps the orange issue was the third release?
