Although many on here know most oldies well, some us havn't a clue... especially where and when they were played out? I know I assume a lot of tunes are oldies, only to find out they didnt get much of an airing on't scene Some returning soul peeps have missed whole decades, some are too young to know whats what...

What about a new refosoul thread for fave oldies, with a focus on putting them into an era i.e wigan early doors, wigan oldie, 80's discoveries, highland room, etc???

might cause a lot of arguments, but then agin it might not!

What a brill idea for a thread------what a nightmare to control and confirm would it be easier to state the year it was broke on the scene. I can see now folks arguing over Cats/Torch/ mecca sounds straight away . Now then dena barnes, Richard temple............................... where were they..... over to you folks
